Eco-friendly Swedish dishcloth with an illustration Wildflowers - Beargrass and Lupine. Reusable, biodegradable, and highly absorbent—perfect for dishes, counters, and everyday kitchen cleaning.

Made from a biodegradable cellulose and all natural cotton blend (70% cellulose / 30% cotton), these dishcloths are very much like the original swedish dishcloth material. They are a great alternative to Sponges and Paper Towels and they are washing machine and dishwasher safe so they can be reused many times, leading to less waste. Plus, they don’t allow bacteria to grow (the way sponges do) so you won’t get that nasty sponge smell!

These compostable swedish dishcloths are perfect for household chores, from cleaning up spills to polishing granite, stainless steel and glass (streak-free). Use it with just water, soap, or cleaners.* It will last for 6 months - 1 year, depending on number of uses. When it’s time to retire your dishcloth, you can toss it in the garbage or your compost pile!

*Using harsh heavy duty cleaners may limit the lifespan of your dishcloth. To lengthen the longevity of your dishcloth, use with more natural cleaners.

Care Instructions

Clean and disinfect your Swedish Dishcloth with the following methods:
- Combine your dishcloth with your laundry in the washing machine
- Place on the top rack of your dishwasher
- Boil in a pot of water for 5 minutes
- Microwave (ONLY WHILE DAMP) for one minute on high

Hang over the faucet or lay flat to air dry. Do not tumble dry.

Shipping: Once your item is on the trail, we’ll email you a tracking number. Orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail, with most U.S. deliveries arriving 3–7 business days after shipping.
